Position Overview:

Reporting to the FP&A Manager for North America, the Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in conducting financial assessments and formulating long-term financial projections and associated budgets. The primary objective is to establish a robust foundation for the strategic planning, oversight, and evaluation of business performance.

This position transcends traditional spreadsheet creation. It is dynamic and offers visibility across the organization. You will delve into data analysis, presenting and discussing business trends as they emerge. Your presentations will be impactful and well-structured.

Core Responsibilities:
Enhance financial performance by analyzing outcomes, tracking variances, identifying trends, and advising management on actionable strategies. Review historical and current financial data and performance metrics.
Generate reports and forecasts based on comprehensive analysis.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to meet ongoing and emerging business requirements.
Investigate investment prospects.
Assess current capital investments.
Collaborate with business units to evaluate financial data and forecasts.
Deliver financial models and forecasting insights.
Comprehend key operational metrics and assess performance against established benchmarks.
Support the closing processes for service and holding companies.
Develop financial and operational models that illustrate scenario and sensitivity analyses to gauge impacts on financial outcomes, investment returns, and projected growth.
Engage with business units regarding pricing, RFPs, and cost structure evaluations.
Undertake additional special projects, tasks, or responsibilities as required.
Experience: 5-7 years in a comparable role.
Experience in a complex organization performing effective financial analyses.
Demonstrated strong work ethic with a focus on results.
Prior treasury experience is advantageous.
Involvement in developing long-term financial forecasts and budgets, along with report preparation and ad-hoc reporting.
Experience with special projects beyond routine analyses.
Familiarity with environments that utilize diverse data sources and formats.
Advanced Excel spreadsheet development skills are essential.
