Job Overview

Position: Corporate Finance Associate

The Corporate Finance Associate will be instrumental in facilitating a range of financial operations, encompassing mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and organizational restructuring. This position requires in-depth financial analysis, the creation of client presentations, and collaboration with senior bankers to nurture client relationships and implement strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute comprehensive financial assessments, including valuation, financial modeling, and peer company analysis.
  • Develop pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial endeavors.
  • Assist in the execution of capital raising activities, including thorough due diligence, drafting of offering materials, and liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Support senior bankers in cultivating client relationships and delivering strategic insights to corporate clients.
  • Conduct industry research and market evaluations to pinpoint potential opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Engage in client discussions, presentations, and negotiations as part of transaction teams.
  • Oversee and mentor junior analysts, offering guidance on financial assessments, modeling, and transaction execution.
  • Collaborate with legal, accounting, and other advisors to ensure seamless transaction processes.
  • Monitor ongoing transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, financial market dynamics, and regulatory shifts that may influence clients and transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related sector.
  • Proficient financial modeling and valuation capabilities, with strong expertise in Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in a team and lead junior personnel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, investment banking products, and corporate finance principles.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or Series 7/63 licenses are preferred.
