Role Summary

As a key member of the Financial Planning team, the Corporate Finance Specialist will be instrumental in the preparation and maintenance of vital financial documents, including Profit and Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. This role involves in-depth variance analysis, comparing actual outcomes to forecasts, and providing valuable insights to senior leadership to identify trends, enhance performance, and develop budgets and forecasts. Additionally, this position will leverage visualization tools to inform critical decisions for the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage regular financial reports, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess actual results against forecasts and budgets.
  • Communicate essential financial insights to senior management.
  • Collect and analyze financial data related to revenue, expenses, and external factors.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and assumptions.
  • Monitor budget performance and offer recommendations for adjustments.
  • Ensure data integrity within budgeting and reporting tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and professional interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to manage competing priorities while fostering relationships with colleagues.
