Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Residence Inn West Des Moines. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively managing room assignments and rates.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Process guest transactions, including payments and refunds, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a positive first impression for guests.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to resolve guest issues and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
