Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather demographic data and enter it into our electronic health record system.
- Manage patient scheduling, including responding to phone calls and assisting patients with their needs.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a front desk or scheduling role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
