Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather demographic data and enter it into our electronic health record system.
  • Manage patient scheduling, including responding to phone calls and assisting patients with their needs.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely patient care.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a front desk or scheduling role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
