Bilingual Sales Associate - Spanish and Portuguese Required

This role presents a distinctive career opportunity to act as a pivotal link between the channel business, collaborating directly with partners and customers. You will be aligned to specific regions, working closely with field teams in the designated countries. This position will provide you with expertise in our internal systems and processes, ultimately accelerating revenue generation in the region as you engage with clients and partners to promote the complete range of VMware products and services. Your primary objective will be to enhance field sales efficiency through operational and administrative sales tasks.

As a successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the overall customer experience while supporting the extended sales team in driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication Skills: This position necessitates proficiency in both Spanish and Portuguese.

2. Deal Registration Qualification: You will manage all incoming partner registrations for new customer initiatives within your assigned regions. Your responsibility will include re-evaluating these registrations by reaching out to partners and/or customers and approving them in our systems. Building a robust network and nurturing relationships with VMware partners will be essential to your role.

3. Quoting Assistance: You will support Account Executives (AEs) in your assigned territories by creating and editing quotes for all active deals in the pipeline. Your contributions will be vital in driving revenue and facilitating the closure of significant deals. A collaborative spirit and a strong, trusting relationship with your AEs will be crucial for maximizing positive impacts on revenue and territory performance.

4. Pipeline Management: You will oversee all open, core pipelines under $50K in your assigned territories. Together with our VMware partners, you will guide opportunities from initial qualification to closure. Upselling and cross-selling will also be part of your responsibilities, positively influencing overall territory performance and revenue. Maintaining a solid understanding of your pipeline will be critical, as new deals will continuously enter your pipeline.
