Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient interviews to obtain accurate information and verify eligibility and benefits.
- Assign coordination of benefits in the hospital information system and explain HIPAA Privacy Notice as necessary.
- Communicate with insurance companies to ensure accurate CPT and ICD codes are utilized on requested authorizations/pre-certifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and interacting with patients, staff, clinicians, and visitors in a timely and pleasant manner.
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
