This includes collaborating with hospital services, medical staff, and administration to deliver quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient interviews to obtain accurate information and verify eligibility and benefits.
  • Assign coordination of benefits in the hospital information system and explain HIPAA Privacy Notice as necessary.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure accurate CPT and ICD codes are utilized on requested authorizations/pre-certifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and interacting with patients, staff, clinicians, and visitors in a timely and pleasant manner.
Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
