Job Summary

The Global Technology Procurement (GTP) team at Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled Director of Business Processes to partner with business leaders across the organization to ensure technology agreements are effectively sourced, negotiated, and managed. As a key advisor, the successful candidate will optimize total business performance by coordinating reviews of technology agreements and collaborating closely with other Procurement and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement various initiatives, special projects, and business process changes in support of GTP's goals and objectives.
  • Represent the team in key transformation and other initiatives, serving as a liaison, stakeholder, and subject matter expert across GTP and with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies and best practices to create flexibility and deliver against current and future business objectives, enabling operational excellence.
  • Partner with GTP leadership and process owners to evaluate processes, generate ideas for process improvement, and implement changes.
  • Serve as a department liaison, procurement stakeholder, and subject matter expert on project teams, across GTP, and with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' business management experience in a global organization with increasing management responsibility and history of consistently delivering business results.
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills, including formulas, analysis, and senior-facing reports, as well as PowerPoint presentation software skills.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow and PowerBI is preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, critical thinking, and knowledge of the procurement planning and contracting process.
