Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to automate financial tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for financial matters and provide guidance to business units.
  • Develop and implement new financial processes and procedures to improve business performance.
  • Monitor and report on financial metrics and ensure compliance with internal and external auditor recommendations.
  • Identify and document existing financial processes and propose improvements.
  • Represent the company in meetings with senior management and regulatory commissions.
  • Direct activities related to financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience in fixed asset accounting and depreciation theory and practices.
  • Supervisory experience.
