Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of comprehensive copy for various brand initiatives targeting healthcare professionals and consumers in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of brand specifics, including clinical trials, studies, and patient demographics.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Creative, Account, and Client teams, becoming the go-to expert for all copy and editorial matters related to the brand.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure that copy aligns with creative briefs and marketing goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for original copy development on assigned projects, including tactical and creative campaigns.
  • Engage with client MLR teams to present work and navigate feedback effectively.
  • Work closely with Editorial to maintain consistency in narrative, voice, tone, and content accuracy.
  • Prepare copy for medical/legal review while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Oversee the progression of copy decks and manuscripts from development to launch in collaboration with Editorial.
  • Demonstrate expertise in interactive content development and editorial processes.
  • Create original content for new initiatives and collaborate with Medical Directors as necessary.
  • Mentor junior copywriters, enhancing their skills and ensuring high-quality output.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to identify and nurture strong creative concepts through to execution.
  • Skilled in presenting and advocating for ideas to both creative teams and clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in web copywriting, particularly within the pharma/healthcare sector.

Requirements:
A compelling copy portfolio showcasing a distinct voice and creativity. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on healthcare professional writing and consumer-oriented content. A Bachelor's degree is required.
