Position Overview
As a key member of the finance team, the Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and engage in professional accounting functions that necessitate a comprehensive understanding of financial transaction recording, classification, examination, and analysis.

Core Responsibilities
This role encompasses a variety of essential accounting and financial reporting tasks aimed at ensuring the integrity and precision of financial transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations and preparing financial reporting packages for regional operations.
  • Generating journal entries and performing account analyses for diverse general ledger accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Managing the monthly closing processes for various Oracle modules, including Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the fixed asset lifecycle, including new capital expenditure requests, asset creation/disposition, roll forwards, and reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and posting journal entries from other departments, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Facilitating global consolidation through Oracle FCCS and assisting in identifying and rectifying variances.
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting of global and regional trial balances and financial data as requested by finance leadership.
  • Acting as a liaison to confirm the accuracy of globally submitted financial data prior to consolidation and addressing any related inquiries.
  • Managing the Global Chart of Accounts process, including the creation of new accounts and cost centers.
  • Researching and documenting analyses of significant trial balance fluctuations for regional entities.
  • Collaborating with the Accounting Manager to resolve accounting and systems-related issues and offer guidance on relevant topics.
  • Preparing fluctuation analysis reports for regional trial balances to elucidate significant variances.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Supporting audit requirements by coordinating with external auditors and fulfilling requests for documentation.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  • The capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, involving extensive computer use and light physical activity. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours as necessary.

Compensation
TaylorMade Golf Company offers a competitive compensation package that considers various factors, including job scope, experience, and skills. The expected annual base pay range for this position is between $70,000 and $76,000, with additional benefits available.
