Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are looking for a part-time, motivated individual to take on a dual role that emphasizes RFP Response and Regulatory responsibilities while also providing essential Sales support. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, outstanding writing capabilities, and a proactive mindset towards sales assistance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

RFP Response and Regulatory - approximately 50% of time (~10 hours/week)

  • Conduct regulatory reviews and prepare responses for RFPs.
  • Assist in crafting compelling, competitive proposals that stand out.
  • Enhance our proposal processes with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for pitches.
  • Interpret complex documents and apply industry best practices.
  • Ensure written proposals meet regulatory standards while demonstrating exceptional skills in proofreading, editing, research, and document formatting.

General Sales Support - approximately 50% of time (~10 hours/week)

  • Support the training program through registrations and promotional campaigns.
  • Document all activities in SalesForce or HubSpot.
  • Participate in community events to provide sales assistance.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams.
  • Create Kick Off pages for newly acquired accounts.
  • Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable, and other financial reporting tasks.
  • Manage shipping and inventory for marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure compliance with MAS schedules and various contract obligations, including state registrations and reporting.
  • Help in outreach and tracking of new partners for proposals.

Outbound Strategy - as required

  • Develop lists of target accounts based on Ideal Customer Profiles and identify additional leads.
  • Gather names, email addresses, and websites for ideal roles (e.g., CMO, CIO).
  • Execute a high volume of outreach emails to prospects to arrange meetings for a Senior Account Manager.
  • Ensure lists are unique and accurate.
  • Work closely with the Senior Account Manager and marketing to enhance business development skills.
  • Create new business opportunities for Promet and the Senior Account Manager from targeted prospect lists.

Required Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of RFP processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing abilities.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce or HubSpot.
  • Effective collaboration skills with sales and marketing teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales support, financial tasks, and inventory management is advantageous.
