Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst will oversee the management and evaluation of various case types, including but not limited to FOIA requests, litigation matters, and appeals. This role involves:

  • Acting as the primary case manager and reviewer for a diverse range of cases.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Formulating detailed responses to requests and collaborating with a dynamic team to gather necessary information.
  • Creating and managing various correspondence, including response letters and requests for information.
  • Engaging with counterparts from other government agencies to ensure comprehensive responses and decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and improvements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and related executive orders.
  • Experience in evaluating unique cases using proprietary systems and tools.
  • Strong background in the intelligence community with developed analytical skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work while managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required, with specific skills clearly demonstrated.
  • Educational background in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborative environments.
  • Outstanding time management and customer service capabilities.
