About the Role

The Account Executive role is a key position within Harbor Networks, responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in the New England market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets, typically ranging from $750k to $1M.
  • Participate in business development activities, including demand generation and lead nurturing.
  • Research and understand customer needs, identifying opportunities to provide tailored solutions.
  • Represent Harbor Networks in a professional and ethical manner, building strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  • Communicate the value proposition of Harbor Networks' solutions to stakeholders, ensuring effective sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Solution Architects and Technical Leads, to deliver customized solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Utilize CRM tools and prospecting platforms to manage sales activities and track performance.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and sales pipelines, ensuring timely and effective communication with sales management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of solution-based sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a territory-based assignment.
  • Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts, with a strong understanding of technology solutions.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a demonstrated resiliency and personal drive to succeed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • Understanding of key technology solutions, including Extreme Networks, Ruckus Wi-Fi Cloud voice solutions, and Cyber Security products.
