Key Responsibilities:- Financial Operations Management: Oversee the daily operation of corporate accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Financial Systems Implementation: Work with corporate stakeholders to support the implementation of financial systems, processes, controls, and procedures for accounting functions.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of accounting professionals through performance assessment and management, training, and ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Department Goals and Objectives: Establish and implement department goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of applicable accounting experience, with a focus on financial operations and management.
- Certifications: CPA certification highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Great Plains, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum four years of supervisory experience required.
