Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Accounting Services to join our Finance team. This individual will play a critical role in leading our Accounting Services Group, driving process improvements, and ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the Accounting Services Teams to achieve efficient, effective, and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Establish and maintain company guidelines for customer/vendor payment terms and customer credit limits to optimize working capital.
  • Develop and validate SAP processes and procedures to optimize the use of SAP.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of the Accounting Services Departments.
  • Partner with the Treasury Team to manage working capital and develop policies to achieve the best possible use of company working capital.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Accounting Services Managers/Supervisors/Leads.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 10-15 years of prior work experience in Accounting Services and Manufacturing Accounting, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with SAP required.
  • Understanding of EDI processes preferred.
  • Software implementation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team setting, drive team results, and support change management within the organization.
  • Highly developed problem-solving abilities - generating workable solutions for any anticipated issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
