Job Summary

Baker Newman Noyes LLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Technology Advisory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our advisory services team, you will be responsible for delivering process re-design, systems selection and implementation, project management, and resource organizational work to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of business and technology advisory consulting projects for assigned client companies in a variety of industries
  • Ensure successful, efficient and on-time completion of multiple, simultaneous engagements
  • Lead team of consultants and update principal throughout project
  • Deliver work specific to system selection and system implementation (ERP), project management, process re-design and governance across industries applying strong knowledge of relevant research methods, industry-specific best practices as well as regulatory and compliance guidance
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client's operational flows, internal control frameworks, technology platforms, and culture and how these factors impact the client's processes and the overall engagement
  • Provide meaningful advice and recommendations particularly related to client controls, business processes, and risk mitigation
  • Assist area leaders in business generation by identifying and communicating proposal opportunities for services to existing and/or prospective clients
  • Participate in firm administration and management, including practice development, staff management, and other areas as assigned
  • Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities and effective written and oral communication skills
  • Adept at building internal and external relationships with a focus on outstanding client service
  • Proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks, strategic thinking, and planning
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to acquire new knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA in finance, management, or accounting preferred
  • Generally 5-7 years of experience in providing business advisory services with a public accounting or professional services firm, preferably a large regional or national firm needed
  • PMP, CISA, or other certificate preferred

Work Environment:

  • Frequent regional travel (approximately 50%) to client sites in Northern New England
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
