Process Controls Engineer

Join Calgon Carbon, a leading innovator in air and water purification, as a Process Controls Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement control systems for new projects, including logic and HMI systems.
  • Work with multiple types of PLC and DCS systems, including Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Honeywell TDC and Experion.
  • Provide expertise to develop controls and instrumentation packages for capital projects.
  • Develop and maintain controls software for production lines.
  • Coordinate with Process Engineers and Project Managers to ensure design hardware and software conform to project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of experience with programming Allen Bradley and Honeywell DCS products/systems.
  • 7-10 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining PI system hardware and software is preferred.
