We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a Water Resources Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative solutions for complex water resource projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects;
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure;
  • Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and perform simulations;
  • Prepare permit applications;
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects;
  • Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff;
  • Manage water resource related projects and tasks;
  • Pursue client management and business development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field);
  • P.E. licensed in PA or ability to obtain this license;
  • 6+ years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: Geotechnical, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, dam design, or structural waterfront engineering;
  • Experience with hydrologic and open-channel hydraulics processes and expertise in modeling these processes;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM HydroCAD, SLID, or other water resources software.
