As a Water Resources Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from stormwater management and compliance to watershed management and floodplain management.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure
  • Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and perform simulations
  • Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports
  • Prepare permit applications
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects
  • Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff
  • Manage water resource related projects and tasks
  • Pursue client management and business development opportunities
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
  • P.E. licensed in PA or ability to obtain this license
  • 6+ years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: Geotechnical, hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, dam design, or structural waterfront engineering
  • Experience with hydrologic and open-channel hydraulics processes and expertise in modeling these processes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM HydroCAD, SLID, or other water resources software
