Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our team at Food Lion. As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stores maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practices and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning produce and deli departments, and maintaining a clean and organized store mop room.
  • Identify and report any unsafe conditions or hazards that could cause associate or customer accidents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on duty.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Conditions

The Quality Assurance Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials. The associate will also be required to stand for long periods, walk short distances, and perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
