Position Overview:
The QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing both automated and manual testing strategies to guarantee the quality and dependability of our cardiac monitoring applications across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated and manual testing strategies.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and articulate detailed test cases.
- Execute both manual and automated test cases while documenting any defects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software aligns with all technical specifications and user requirements.
- Work in partnership with the development team to diagnose and resolve defects.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory quality management systems throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Conduct extensive testing of our Angular frontend utilizing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
- Assist the QA Lead/Manager and act as a substitute when required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
- Proficiency with web testing tools such as Selenium Driver, Katalon, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Angular testing tools including Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
- Understanding of REST APIs, with experience in Postman/Insomnia testing considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Test Management Tools; experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL queries.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of both positive and negative testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and reasoning abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Quality Management Systems.
- Background in Medical Device Manufacturing.
- Experience in testing Windows applications.
- Familiarity with Mobile application testing.
