About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Brooksource. As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of Quality Engineering test philosophies and methodologies.
  • Review and verify requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis on product testability and verification.
  • Produce documentation/metrics with the goal of reducing test intervals and improving quality.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Write and edit complex, automated test code, in accordance with specifications and technical requirements, maintaining automation codebase in a version control system (Git).
  • Perform functional and syntax reviews of automation code.
  • Work with other QE engineers to drive automation and CI/CD tools and framework.
  • Execute and manage test cases and results, report on test and defect metrics.
  • Execute automated functional, integration, and regression test cases; log, track and verify the resolution of defects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or similar.
  • 1+ years of experience working with QA and automated testing.
  • Strong experience in C++.
  • Experience with Golang.
