Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Standard Electric Supply Co. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the electrical distribution industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, developing and executing business plans, building relationships with customers and suppliers, and providing support to internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for coordinating customer product training, educating inside and outside sales teams on product applications, and implementing targeted marketing strategies.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, a valid driver's license, personal transportation, 1-2 years of experience in business development or sales, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the electrical distribution industry, knowledge of electrical control systems, technology savvy with knowledge of relevant software applications, experience with customer relationship management systems, and product knowledge with the ability to conduct training sessions are all preferred qualifications.

Estimated Salary Range: $62,000 - $82,000 per year based on location and experience.
