POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are currently seeking an Employee Experience Manager to join our team. This full-time, on-site role will report directly to the Executive Director. The Employee Experience Manager is tasked with crafting exceptional experiences for our employees and prospective candidates through the implementation of established processes and programs from the Employee Services and Payroll departments. This position plays a crucial role in guiding candidates and employees throughout their journey from recruitment to retirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Employee Experience Manager will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee retention, collaborating with the YES team.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and engaging orientation that aligns with our mission and values.
  • Manage and monitor training initiatives for all employees, ensuring compliance with required and regulatory training.
  • Act as a representative for company recognition programs and surveys.
  • Work alongside the Regional Director of Human Resources to address performance-related concerns and other employee matters.
  • Champion initiatives related to Benefits, Wellness, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files, including medical and benefits information.
  • Ensure data integrity across various Human Resource and payroll systems.
  • Verify compliance with licensing and certification requirements for necessary positions.
  • Update and maintain company policies and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor employee vaccination statuses as required.
  • Have a foundational understanding of compensation structures and practices.
  • Review payroll deductions and reports for accuracy on a weekly basis.
  • Manage time and attendance records, ensuring accurate reporting for department supervisors.
  • Process new hire information in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Distribute instant issue cards to employees without direct deposit.
  • Securely store payroll records and documentation.
  • Complete and distribute weekly attendance reports.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years in human resources or payroll, preferably in healthcare or senior living environments.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for second and third shifts.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse individuals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This role involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Effective communication with colleagues, residents, and visitors is essential.
