Position Overview

Wachter is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Project Manager within our Nationwide Service & Projects division. This position is pivotal in overseeing the management and operational support of projects related to fire and intrusion alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire and intrusion alarm systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, security management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience, specifically in fire and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is preferred; NICET certification in fire and intrusion alarm systems is advantageous.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve technical challenges.
