Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to support the Center for Adult and Continuing Education at Huston-Tillotson University. The successful candidate will assist the Director in analyzing current systems to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase operational efficiency, financial growth, and support leadership in collaborative efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director in collecting and presenting data to set, prioritize, and achieve long and short-range goals related to budget projections, cost-effectiveness, academic success, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain communication lines between the Director, program partners, advisory committee members, faculty, and participate in weekly meetings.
- Develop and implement systems to improve the processing of expenditures, procurements, receivables, and monitor programs budget.
- Custodian for Documentation Management, ensuring compliance with University, SACSCOC, TEA, THECB, and credentialing agencies requirements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining spreadsheets for academic scheduling, certification plans, and other program-related tasks.
- Manage Customer Services, track complaints, and students' evaluations of courses.
- Oversee student orientation and training for all programs, ensuring new students are informed of policies, services, and programs.
- Update and manage the maintenance of handbooks and websites.
- Collaborate with student services and assist in preparing, maintaining, and updating operational practices and reporting.
- Assist in auditing student records for graduation eligibility and executing student re-entry process.
- Provide administrative assistance in facilitating the ATC application and admission process.
- Facilitate the recruitment of candidates using technology and social media.
- Assist in planning, developing, and administering continuing education programs that reflect community needs and expectations.
- Provide administrative leadership and support in developing new courses, certification programs, workshops, seminars, and events.
- Evaluate and establish relationships with multiple vendors; review contractual arrangements.
- Develop, cultivate, and maintain working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefits from the program.
- Master's degree in education with 2-3 years recent experience in education (preferably adult education) or Bachelor Degree in Education or Business Administration with 3-5 years recent experience in adult education, program, or project management.
- Proficient in computer, technology, and social media used to support and promote CACE programs.
- Commitment to the Vision and Mission of Huston-Tillotson University.

- Excellent leadership qualities and team management skills.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts.
This position reports to the Director, Center for Adult & Continuing Education.
Salary Range$40,000 Annually, plus benefits.
