Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team. As a Chef at Benchmark, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavorful dishes for our residents.
- Menu Planning: Assist in planning and implementing menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Food Services Director and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food service operations.
- Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills and willingness to supervise and train kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary Arts training preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of dietary experience required.
- Skills: Knowledge of dietary procedures, food safety, and sanitation practices; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
