Position Overview:

Who are we seeking?

CAPTRUST is in search of a Wealth Client Management Consultant to collaborate with multiple financial advisors in managing and nurturing wealth client connections.

The Client Management Consultant leverages specialized expertise and skills, gained through experience and/or formal education, to support Financial Advisors in delivering exceptional service to individual investors and families. This role involves recommending solutions to various challenges while maintaining extensive communication with Financial Advisors, internal stakeholders, and operational teams across different custodians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with Financial Advisors, internal and external partners, and clients by providing outstanding proactive service.
  • Manage existing client relationships through effective communication, including calls, meetings, and correspondence, while ensuring timely processing of requests related to funds and asset movements.
  • Prepare and supply necessary documentation and materials for client interactions.
  • Participate in investment and annual reviews as needed.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new client relationships through correspondence, reports, account paperwork, and advisory agreements.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors and internal partners to identify optimal solutions for client issues, ensuring satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner while embodying the CAPTRUST culture.
  • Organize and maintain client records in compliance with CAPTRUST standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Engage in additional duties and special projects as assigned, including firm-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Client Service role within the brokerage, investment advisory, or financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Ability to navigate and analyze spreadsheets effectively.
  • Strong mathematical skills with a quick understanding of financial and investment concepts.
  • A positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities; adept at managing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptability to change and innovative thinking regarding process enhancements.
  • Capacity to manage shifting priorities, pressure, and tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven; capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proactive in following up on tasks, staying ahead of deadlines, and demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
