Who Are We Seeking?
CAPTRUST is in search of a Wealth Advisory Service Consultant who will collaborate with multiple financial advisors to enhance and maintain wealth client partnerships.
The Consultant will leverage specialized expertise and skills, acquired through experience and/or formal education, to support Financial Advisors in delivering exceptional service to individual investors and families. The candidate will also propose solutions to challenges while engaging extensively with Financial Advisors, internal stakeholders, and operational teams across various custodians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes strong relationships with Financial Advisors, internal and external partners, and clients by providing outstanding proactive service.
- Manages existing client relationships through communication, meetings, and addressing inquiries, ensuring the highest level of service and timely follow-up.
- Prepares and presents necessary documentation and materials for client interactions.
- May participate in investment and annual reviews.
- Facilitates the onboarding of new client relationships through correspondence, reports, account documentation, and advisory agreements.
- Collaborates with Financial Advisors and internal partners to identify effective methods for resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction while embodying the CAPTRUST culture.
- Organizes and maintains client records in compliance with CAPTRUST, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Undertakes additional duties and special projects as needed, including firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- A four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in a Client Service role within the brokerage, investment advisory, or financial services sector.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
- Strong ability to navigate and analyze spreadsheets.
- Excellent mathematical skills with a quick understanding of financial and investment concepts.
- Positive demeanor and a collaborative team player.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; adept at managing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptable to change and innovative in process improvement.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Self-driven; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- High standard of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive in following up on tasks, staying ahead of deadlines, and demonstrating excellent time management.
