CAPTRUST is in search of a Wealth Advisory Client Consultant to collaborate with multiple financial advisors in managing and nurturing wealth client relationships.
The Client Consultant leverages specialized expertise and skills, acquired through experience and/or formal education, to support Financial Advisors in delivering outstanding service to individual investors and families. This role involves recommending solutions to various challenges while maintaining extensive communication with Financial Advisors, internal partners, and operational teams across different custodians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with Financial Advisors, internal and external partners, and clients by providing exceptional proactive service.
- Manage existing client relationships through effective communication, including calls, meetings, and correspondence, while ensuring prompt follow-up and high-quality service.
- Prepare and supply necessary documentation and materials for client interactions.
- Participate in investment reviews and annual assessments as needed.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new client relationships through correspondence, reports, account paperwork, and advisory agreements.
- Collaborate with Financial Advisors and internal partners to identify optimal solutions for issues, ensuring client satisfaction in a professional manner that aligns with CAPTRUST's culture.
- Organize and maintain client records in compliance with CAPTRUST, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in additional duties and special projects as required, including firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- A four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Client Service role within the brokerage, investment advisory, or financial services sector.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
- Ability to navigate and manipulate spreadsheets effectively.
- Strong mathematical skills and a quick understanding of financial and investment concepts.
- A positive demeanor and collaborative spirit.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability to change and a creative approach to process enhancement.
- Capacity to handle shifting priorities, pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A high standard of professionalism and attention to detail.
