Job Description

Role Overview

The Global Head of Digital Product will be responsible for driving the company's digital product strategy and roadmap, leading the Digital Product Development organization, and collaborating with senior management to make key decisions on new product enhancements, features, and digital pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Digital Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and market trends.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure that customer, consumer, and employee needs are addressed through existing and future products.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and supply chain, to drive product innovation and successful launches.
  • Business Initiative Delivery: Collaborate with the strategy delivery office and senior leadership team to define and deliver on key digital product business initiatives.
  • Communication and Alignment: Develop and maintain an effective communication plan to ensure the organization is aware and aligned with strategy, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain appropriate metrics to monitor and assess operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market data and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and expansion.
  • Partnership and Team Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enable innovation and ensure the highest quality and reliability of the digital product portfolio.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing digital product chapter team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize digital product performance, taking proactive measures to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to inform digital product strategy and serve as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Tech, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of product and portfolio management experience.
  • Domain Expertise: Depth in at least one of the big domains for CPG: martech, RGM/B2B sales, and/or Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with modern, cloud-based full stack software.
  • Global Experience: Experience driving product management across a federated global organization with regional solution development/customization.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and collaborate across departments.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Project Management: Project management and proven track record in growing businesses.
  • Leadership Characteristics: Customer orientation, organizational effectiveness, creative thinking, analytical thinking, and modeling key values.
