Key Responsibilities:
Role Summary

We are in search of a Field Operations Support Specialist tasked with operating large vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods, as well as the installation and setup of portable cooling systems at various job sites.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service orientation and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. This role necessitates frequent communication with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and clients.

Core Duties:
  • Manage and prioritize delivery and pickup schedules, adapting to changing priorities as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate job files and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the rental fleet, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Utilize asset tracking software to accurately log units in and out by serial number.
  • Communicate efficiently with sales and billing teams to fulfill job requirements and customer expectations.
  • Exhibit flexibility to work overtime or weekends as business demands dictate.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency situations.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Represent the company positively to contractors, tradespeople, and clients.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 26,000 lbs safely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with handheld devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets).

Candidate must be capable of working in various conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to loud machinery, extreme weather, and potential electrical hazards. Physical requirements include the ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds.

Language Proficiency
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as write correspondence.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients and colleagues.

Mathematical Skills

  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Reasoning Skills

  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions in various formats and address problems involving multiple concrete variables.

Work Environment:
Field-based role requiring travel to multiple customer sites daily.

Physical Demands:
Regular use of hands for operating equipment and computers, frequent standing, walking, and sitting. The role requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling, with specific vision abilities necessary for the job.
