Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates, revises, and implements the annual business strategy to achieve daily objectives, including sales targets, cost management, inventory control, budgeting, and overall impact.
  • Facilitates the publishing strategy by creating financially sound product proposals for evaluation.
  • Analyzes the competitive landscape to strategically position products in the market, identifying potential opportunities.
  • Engages in continuous research of relevant market segments, focusing on characteristics, buyer personas, and emerging trends.
  • Optimizes product content, packaging, and titles to enhance market impact.
  • Oversees the maintenance and updating of product metadata.
  • Conceptualizes and executes promotional initiatives, including seasonal campaigns, clearance sales, and targeted offers.
  • Develops and nurtures effective collaborations with creative team members to ensure successful product development and marketing within assigned categories.
  • Partners with fellow marketing managers, copywriters, and designers to create marketing strategies aimed at maximizing the launch of new products as well as sustaining interest in existing offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Product Management, Brand Management, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning.
  • Proficient in Business Writing and Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with publishing, printing, graphic design, or layout design is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in marketing/business, including product management, brand management, data analysis, and budgeting.
