About the Position

We are in search of a Product Manager who possesses a robust background in developing software solutions within a SaaS or marketplace context. The successful candidate will spearhead the creation of new tools and functionalities within the Door product suite. With several years of experience, you will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of intricate technical projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the go-to expert on Door products, understanding customer needs and usage patterns.
  • Demonstrate experience with both consumer-oriented and B2B2C products, particularly native applications.
  • Possess familiarity with mobile and web applications, with a bonus for experience in Access, Prop-tech, and Services Products.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and potential features, prioritizing based on customer feedback, business requirements, and data-driven insights, utilizing analytics and BI tools.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, establishing vision, strategy, and priorities, defining requirements, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to maintain a user-friendly and intuitive platform.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, encompassing schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to minimize project timeline disruptions.
  • Proactively resolve issues during project execution to ensure smooth progress.
  • Adapt project plans in response to evolving requirements or unforeseen challenges.
  • Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, keeping them updated on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate project priorities as needed.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and other technical professionals, fostering collaboration for seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with technical leads to ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Review and validate technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide project decisions and strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key metrics, risks, and achievements to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role within a SaaS product management or related environment.
  • Proven ability to utilize data for product enhancement decisions.
  • Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams, including remote or distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for design and usability, with experience collaborating closely with UX/UI teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in product management software and agile methodologies.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
