Position: Business Analyst

OCT Consulting, LLC is a recognized small business management and technology consulting firm, dedicated to providing exceptional support to Federal Government clients. Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Analyst to assist the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD). The CSD is at the forefront of national efforts to bolster the security, resilience, and workforce capabilities of the cyber ecosystem, safeguarding essential services. The selected candidate will work closely with federal clients to comprehend and document business and system requirements as well as processes.

  • Thoroughly document critical processes and systems.
  • Engage with government entities to gather and analyze business requirements for IT systems, processes, and policies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of government programs and initiatives by offering analytical support and insights.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, policies, and standards throughout all business analysis activities and deliverables.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of government projects by documenting requirements, creating project plans, and facilitating stakeholder communication.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of proven experience in a similar capacity on a full-time basis.
  • At least 10 years of experience in aiding organizations with business processes, documentation, strategy, and data analysis; proficient in understanding and documenting business and system requirements and processes.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A current DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and education.
