Role Summary:The ideal candidate will possess 11-15 years of extensive experience as a Business Analyst, demonstrating a solid track record in capturing, validating, and managing requirements along with requirements traceability to support product development, testing, and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and articulate systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry standards.
- Develop or adjust procedures to address complex challenges, taking into account computer equipment capabilities, operational timelines, and desired outcomes.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business and user requirements, documenting them accurately and translating them into appropriate system specifications.
- Provide expert consultation on intricate projects, recognized as a leading contributor/specialist in various phases of systems analysis, while evaluating the business implications of technology applications in current and future environments.
- Proficient in requirements identification, use case and scenario documentation, and development of visual aids, analytical tables, and presentations.
- Hands-on experience in business process analysis, redesign, workflows, and intricate logic.
- Prior experience in a business analyst capacity for web-based case management, user portals, or data capture applications within human services.
- Strong analytical capabilities, effective time management, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst/Business Data Analyst role.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management across functions.
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as Visio and requirements management tools like Contour or Jira is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, engaging with developers, clients, project managers, and quality assurance analysts.
- Experience in gathering and documenting both system and business requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
