Job Summary

The Lead Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Central Intake teams and management team in achieving their day-to-day goals. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with program management, supervisors, and other CBHC providers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Represent and serve as a liaison between all BHN levels of care.
  • Ensure staff follow established programmatic workflows and maintain accurate records.
  • Operate telephone and voicemail systems in a timely and welcoming manner.
  • Become familiar with all insurance carriers for each individual served.
  • Provide on-call support as needed to secure assistance for staff.
  • Monitor and respond to referrals and requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with referral sources, program staff, and BHN-wide staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments and provide other options as necessary.
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new Central Intake staff.
  • Assist supervisors in ensuring staff remain up-to-date with position requirements.
  • Maintain BHN phone tree and required routing.
  • Organize and track key performance indicators for agency referrals and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of call center, office, or community experience required.
  • General knowledge or experience in the mental health field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Carelogic, Insurance Databases, and Smart sheets.
