Job Summary

The Lead Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Central Intake teams and management team in achieving their day-to-day goals. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with CBHC Supervisors and management team to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met.
  • Process reports to ensure CBHC measures are successfully met.
  • Engage with staff, individuals, families, and other providers in a proficient and professional manner to obtain answers to BHN administrative inquiries.
  • Help determine the most suitable services to meet each person's needs.
  • Communicate with referral sources, program staff, and BHN-wide staff in a timely manner.
  • Represent and serve as a liaison between all BHN levels of care.
  • Ensure staff follows established programmatic workflows.
  • Operate telephone and voicemail systems in a timely and welcoming manner.
  • Provide on-call support to secure assistance for staff.
  • Monitor referrals and requests from the email box and handle them in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of new Central Intake staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of call center experience, office experience, or community experience required.
  • General knowledge or experience in the mental health field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Carelogic, Insurance Databases, and Smart sheets.
