KBR Research and Technology Safeguarding Lead

Position:
Research and Technology Safeguarding Lead

KBR is in search of a driven and career-focused Research and Technology Safeguarding Lead.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and assess research projects and initiatives
  • Perform security evaluations
  • Create Risk Assessment documents that pinpoint security, counter-intelligence, and protection needs
  • Conduct Performer Vulnerability Assessments considering foreign ownership/influence, business operations, and financial implications
  • Generate and revise Export Control Assessments that specify actual deliverables.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of experience within the Intelligence Community
  • Proven experience in developing program security guidance documentation (both original and derivative)
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts from diverse data sources
  • Experience engaging with senior executives and R&D program leaders
  • Familiarity with information system security standards and protocols

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree
  • 15+ years of experience within the Intelligence Community
  • Capability to interview R&D managers to formulate program guidance
  • Direct experience with technology research and analysis of emerging technologies
