Key Responsibilities:
Shape the future of technology portfolio management at GEICO to support our technology transformation.

Establish and execute strategies and processes for planning, monitoring, and optimizing a portfolio of projects across key areas.

Guide the definition of objectives, key results, and initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational and corporate goals.

Lead regular portfolio planning sessions, including project intake, prioritization, and resource allocation.


Track and assess portfolio performance against targeted key results, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and ensure timely and precise reporting to stakeholders.

Drive the planning and execution of intricate, cross-functional technology programs and projects.

Identify stakeholders, clarify roles, and secure engagement and commitment from cross-functional project teams.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, timelines, and resource management.

Facilitate the successful delivery of technology projects across teams, effectively managing dependencies, risks, and challenges.


Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including executive leadership, to comprehend business needs and ensure alignment of technology initiatives.

Create transparency regarding progress, consistently communicating timelines, updates, and project statuses to stakeholders.

Educate, mentor, and enhance the skills of delivery leaders in effective project management methodologies.

Qualifications:
Exceptional strategic thinking, collaboration, and project management capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in guiding technical project teams.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross-functional technology programs and projects.

Solid understanding of the underlying technology in core domains such as product, platform, enterprise, data AI/ML, cybersecurity, or infrastructure.

Proven ability to cultivate impactful relationships at all organizational levels to influence and drive change.

Ability to navigate complexity, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proactive mindset, thriving in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.

Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills; data-driven and results-oriented; detail-focused.

Experience:
10+ years of proven experience in a technology leadership capacity.

10+ years of proven experience in technology portfolio, program, and project management.

8+ years of proven experience with project management tools.

5+ years of proven experience with agile development methodologies.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or equivalent education or work experience.

Annual Salary:
$120,000 - $261,500.00

The above annual salary range serves as a general guideline.

Multiple factors are considered to determine the final hourly rate/annual salary offered to the selected candidate.

Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, work location, as well as market and business considerations.
