We are seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee financial operations within our organization.

This position will follow a hybrid work model, requiring a blend of in-office and remote work.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations leaders, as well as Corporate Process Leaders.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing accounting team.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive system of accounting procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise the preparation of regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Recommend performance benchmarks for the organization.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of monthly reports to verify accuracy and provide explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and supply necessary documentation for annual audits.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Assist Service Center Leaders with inquiries related to Accounts Payable, Sales and Use Tax, and Financial Reporting.
  • Work in conjunction with IT and other departments to ensure accurate financial data recording.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred qualifications include a CPA or MBA in Accounting.
  • Experience in implementing automation solutions to enhance Accounts Payable processes.
  • A minimum of 10 years in private accounting, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Experience leading monthly close cycles in accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in financial statement preparation and general ledger functions.
  • Effective communication skills to inform stakeholders of non-standard accounting entries.
  • Ability to learn and utilize various accounting systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience in optimizing payment processing activities.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000, plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
