The Hire Solution is collaborating with a prominent, expanding organization to recruit a Corporate Accountant. This position is essential for the financial department and requires a candidate with a degree in Accounting or a related discipline, along with 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or Corporate Accounting. Candidates with a background in Public Accounting and at least one year of experience are strongly encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly accounting journal entries utilizing our ERP software.
  • Conduct preparation and analysis of various balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Compile and prepare accruals, allocations, and related documentation.
  • Manage payroll recording for various operational offices.
  • Oversee the corporate Accounts Payable function.
  • Review sales tax implications related to capital expenditures and corporate invoicing initiatives.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and monthly financial trends.
  • Prepare quarterly or annual schedules for external audit purposes.
  • Contribute to the Monthly Financial Reporting Package for management assessment.
  • Play a crucial role in the integration of newly acquired entities, an ongoing process.
  • Prepare and review various bank reconciliations for operational and disbursement accounts.
  • Engage in various projects as directed by the Functional Controller or Controller.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or Corporate Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
