Job Overview

CoreCard Software is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to collaborate with global enterprises. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works in tandem with both Staff and Senior Accountants, as well as subsidiary management, to deliver precise and timely accounting assistance, uphold robust internal controls, and guarantee the integrity of financial reporting and general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general ledger's upkeep, ensuring the accurate documentation of financial transactions and correct coding.
  • Lead a dedicated team in executing monthly corporate accounting and closing tasks, which includes scrutinizing journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and other analyses pertinent to revenue recognition, consolidations, and significant accounting issues.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly accounting reports, along with ad hoc analyses for senior leadership.
  • Provide essential information to management teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the design, execution, and upkeep of internal controls and accounting policies to ensure effective governance and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support ERP implementation initiatives.
  • Conduct special projects as directed by the CFO.
  • Facilitate the coordination of external audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Generate monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports, including relevant schedules, worksheets, and narratives, along with variance analysis and follow-up on significant discrepancies.
  • Help document policies and procedures while monitoring internal controls.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements and best practices to boost efficiency.
  • Oversee the fixed assets process, including capitalization and approval workflows.
  • Provide contract administration support to the CFO as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • Active CPA license is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
