We are looking for a Senior Client Solutions Strategist to be a pivotal member of our global Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry division. In this prominent position, the strategist will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring cohesive collaboration among all AWS teams to achieve transformative results for our clients.

Role Responsibilities

The AWS Industries team is dedicated to guiding industry clients through their digital transformation journeys. Our primary objective is to meet clients at their current stage in the cloud journey and work backward from their specific industry needs to revolutionize their business and sector. Our team speaks the language of our industry clients, focusing on business outcomes and industry-specific use cases.

What Will You Do?

  • Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) are dedicated to accelerating our clients' cloud adoption and maximizing the value derived from their cloud investments. They achieve this by collaborating with client leaders and their engineering teams to strategize and oversee their cloud journey.
  • CSMs advocate for their clients within AWS, ensuring their needs are represented across the organization.
  • You will take full ownership of a diverse array of projects and initiatives, interfacing and influencing among core account groups, product/engineering teams, and client teams.
  • Establish a profound understanding of your clients' business vision, culture, and processes, promoting AWS services and guiding clients toward the optimal solutions.
  • Utilize your experience with large-scale transformations to assist clients in navigating their AWS adoption journey, addressing challenges with innovative ideas and tools.
  • Act as the clients' cloud journey coach, representing their interests within AWS and advocating for their needs to leadership and engineering teams.

Travel Requirements

This position may require 20% - 30% travel to meet with clients. The Account Team will engage with client teams and leadership onsite approximately 1-2 times per month, though this may vary.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven track record of thought leadership and successful program completion.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience, engaging with client executives and technologists to address business challenges with advanced technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading both technical and non-technical transformation project teams across diverse functional areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or similar qualifications (SCRUM/Agile, SAFe).
  • Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
