Responsibilities of a Quick Lube Technician:

  • Monitor and communicate oil levels to team members
  • Ensure proper tire pressure
  • Inspect and replenish fluid levels as required
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as necessary
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on the customer's perspective

Responsibilities of a Service Technician:

  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and provide time estimates for repairs
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting
  • Strong knowledge of the service drive
  • Experience levels vary by position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
