Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team at our Fred Anderson Nissan store in Asheville, North Carolina. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing factory scheduled maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform factory scheduled maintenance and follow all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures
  • Test drive vehicles to identify any concerns or issues
  • Communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs for vehicles
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles to customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Work as a team with service department professionals to ensure excellent customer service
  • Participate in classes and training to advance knowledge of working on vehicles
  • Stay up to date on products and vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Strong focus on providing the best service experience for every customer

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years prior technician experience
  • Ability and knowledge to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles
  • Maintain the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Possess one or more ASE certifications
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
