Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Sushi Chef who can help us deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our discerning guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping, slicing, and filleting various kinds of fish, as well as placing orders for supplies as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to the highest standards
  • Source and maintain high-quality ingredients, including fresh seafood and seasonal produce
  • Develop and execute menus that showcase the best of Japanese cuisine
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-end Japanese restaurant
  • Excellent verbal communication and organization skills, with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
