Overview: The Culinary Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the daily kitchen activities at Prime Pizza. This role leads the back of house team to ensure the delivery of exceptional products and guest experiences while adhering to brand standards and protocols. Key responsibilities include maintaining quality and execution across the entire menu at Prime Pizza.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantees the highest level of guest satisfaction through superior product quality and hospitality.
  • Adheres to company policies and best practices to provide outstanding experiences.
  • Promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.
  • Collaborates with the General Manager to provide leadership by exemplifying best practices and establishing clear expectations.
  • Conducts weekly team meetings to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
  • Drives operational excellence to achieve optimal performance.
  • Ensures the facility meets the highest health and safety standards.
  • Oversees procurement of food and operational supplies, manages inventory levels, and maintains kitchen cleanliness and safety.
  • Responsible for hiring and maintaining appropriate staffing levels, delivering training and development for all roles, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Assists the General Manager with payroll and timekeeping, while managing financial performance with controllable costs.
Work Environment and Expectations:
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings as required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, bustling, and noisy environment.
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Commitment to coaching and mentoring staff to foster team development and encourage internal promotions.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a college degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Kitchen Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees.
  • Preferred experience in ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative team player, and a high level of accountability.
  • Proficient in basic math skills and capable of operating a POS system.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
