Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

Position Overview:
The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the dining establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the three-compartment sink with appropriate cleaning agents and sanitized dishes, pots, pans, and containers.
- Ensure that the dishwashing area is properly set up with the necessary cleaning supplies.
- Thoroughly clean all dishes and return them to their designated spots on the hot line.
- Sanitize all utensils and organize them in their proper locations.
- Wash all glassware and place them appropriately.
- Conduct sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors, storage areas, service lines, and dining spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of walls and shelves within the kitchen.
- Wash dirty containers and neatly stack them in their assigned areas.
- Clear and clean tables and remove trash in both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) areas.
- Empty and clean BOH trash receptacles.
- Complete all daily side tasks and participate in assigned deep cleaning duties.
- Keep FOH trash bins organized and dispose of waste as needed.
- Follow the policies, procedures, and standards outlined in the Associate Handbook.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with effective communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and a positive work atmosphere.
- Represent the brand with enthusiasm and dedication.
- Work with a sense of urgency to meet guest needs.
- Maintain composure and positivity in high-pressure situations.
- Physical stamina and fitness are essential.
- Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to frequent handwashing protocols as per Health Department Guidelines.
- Proficient in operating all necessary equipment to perform duties safely.
- Possession of a Food Handlers Card is required.
